Summit Surveyors is an independent, RICS-regulated surveying practice specialising in residential property surveys across Surrey and the surrounding areas. We work with homeowners and buyers to give them a clear and honest understanding of a property's condition before they commit to buying.
Our surveyors have experience inspecting a wide range of properties, from modern homes and flats to older and period properties. We take the time to look properly at the property, identify potential problems and explain what those issues could mean for you.
Most importantly, we want our reports to be useful. We don't expect you to be a surveyor yourself, so we explain our findings in straightforward language and highlight the things that we think you should be aware of.
What We Survey
We carry out RICS Level 2 Home Surveys and Level 3 Building Surveys, depending on the property and the level of detail required.
Our surveys look at the visible and accessible parts of a property, including areas such as the roof, walls, floors, windows, external areas and visible services. We look for signs of defects, deterioration, movement, damp and other issues that could affect the property now or in the future.
For older, larger or more unusual properties, a Level 3 Building Survey provides a more detailed inspection and gives you a greater understanding of the building and any defects that may need attention.
We also use modern technology where it can add value to an inspection, including specialist moisture-measuring equipment and drone photography where appropriate.
